Rapper, Drake, released his 2nd studio album on November 15, 2011. Within one week of its release, it was #1 on Billboard and sold 631,000 copies. As of February, 2012, the album went platinum and has sold 1,376,000 copies in the United States.
Take Care became one of the most anticipated albums of 2011. The release date got delayed multiple times and it got leaked online before the official release. The majority of the songs on the album were about failed romances, growing wealth and fame. The album had 4 singles. They were Headlines, Make Me Proud, The Motto, and Take Care. The album made it on the Billboard charts and sold 447,000 copies in the first week. "My favorite song off of Take Care is Make Me Proud because I like that Nicki Minaj is featured in it. She is an awesome rapper and is one of the only real girl rappers," said Julia. Drake became a very popular rapper. His songs are well liked and have good meaning to them.
